I read several reviews of the Discpainter and it sounds like people were using two different products, one that gave great results and one that gave low quality results. I can clear up the confusion. The Dymo Discpainter gives beautiful, professional results IF YOU USE IT WITH THE RIGHT BLANK CDs. Not all printable CDs are alike. I tried 5 or 6 brands unsuccessfully until I finally found the right CDs for this printer. You must use "Taiyo Yuden/JVC Water Shield White Inkjet Hub Printable 52X CD-R Media" CDs. They are available here on Amazon. If you use these blank CDs you will get beautiful, mirror like finishes with briliant colors that look totally professional. The ink dries quickly on these CDs also. So, bottom line, I would highly recommend the Dymo DiscPainter with the blank CDs I listed. If you use this combination you will have excellent results.
